What are the 3 adjectives you would use to describe your bookstore?

Friendly, Cozy, Diverse

Share a quote from a book or poem that bares your bookstore’s soul.

“Home isn’t where you’re from, it’s where you find light when all grows dark.”

Pierce Brown

Why was your bookstore founded/what role does it play in the community?

It was founded on a daughter’s desire to build lasting memories with her mother, which turned into a beatific family affair. It then became the “true church of Russellville”, as one patron professed. It is a place that embodies raw community spirit and representation of all its customers.

Which champion/warrior/wildcat (real or mythological) does your bookstore channel most?

It definitely channels a Boston Terrier. Does that count?

What makes your bookstore unique?

It was started as a mother daughter duo who had zero knowledge of bookstore managing. Pat Young, the mother of the duo, is a life-long educator. Emily Young, the daughter, is a graphic designer.

What is something that no one knows about your bookstore?

We came up with the name of the bookstore from a logo idea, not a logo from the name.
