Why was your bookstore founded/what role does it play in the community

Our bookstore was created to connect African people of different cultures together and to introduce other ethnicities to our rich culture.

What makes your bookstore unique?

We also have a African Art Gallery featuring African sculptures and masks. We also host one of the most vendor friendly farmers markets in Dallas, TX.

What is something that no one knows about your bookstore? 

That we used to take customers on tours to Africa but since halted due to Covid.
